There was a lot I experienced today that pointed to contentment as a theme. Church message on money, me being terrible at disc golf but still enjoying it, watching my son toddle around a park, having a great meeting of leaders with wonderful people. But me on the couch with my wife after a long day is the most compelling image of contentment I can imagine. Nothing else matters. I’m home, I know there is sleep in my near future, I know the person sharing this stained mass of fabric we call a couch loves me deeply, and all is well.
Even better if we’re watching a cooking show…which we are about to do…
Ahhhhhh 🙂
Funny how the simple things in life are sometimes the most meaningful. You are man of much wisdom Peter & your insights encourage & bless me. Susan
